Mackay Aiming to Shatter records and create history

The FMS Rumble on the Reef is coming soon!

We’re as excited as you are, and when it comes to sport, Mackay does not disappoint.

Rumble on the reef holds the current Australian records for the highest number of competitors in a skateboarding competition nationally.

Haylie Powell and Chloe Covell at the Sugar Bowl Mackay

We’ve just seen Haylie Powell, Chloe Covell, Liv Lovelace, Matt Berger, Heili Sirvio & Keiran Woolley all people who’ve been to Rumble make it to Paris 2024.

It’s time to show the world why Mackay is Boss when it comes to sport

We’re going for the record, and ready to do it!

This year, we want to break the record for highest attendance of a domestic skateboarding event in Australia.

The big day is September 21, at the Sugar Bowl Mackay. We’re calling on Mackay locals and Queenslanders to make their way to the Sugar Bowl and set a national record for skateboarding.

If there is any place in Australia that can do it, it’s Mackay!

Lets give these future and current olympians the crowds they deserve, live and free in Mackay.
